Job Description
Medical Researcher Under the direction of the manager and//or designee, the Virtual Patient Care technician will provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. The first line of action will be to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in any at risk behaviors. Next will be to summon the nursing and/or support staff if the patient requires assistance. Monitor staff will be knowledgeable and abide by patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies. The tele video monitoring position supports the department and the Division of Nursing by optimizing patient safety and improving patient outcomes.
